Police Nabs Trailer with Killer Methanol for brewing Changaa

Just a few days after police  nabbed Ex Mp Wanjala and Lover Akinyi at Isinya, Police has yet nabbed A trailer loaded with thousands tonnes of killer methanol acid meant for brewing illicit brew has been intercepted in Isinya along Namanga -Nairobi highway.
The Trailer which the police say they have been trailing for quite some time was nabbed at 4.30pm Today as they attempted to cross the conty.

Nyeri Man Jailed for Raping Donkey

A man has been sentenced to six years imprisonment by a Nyeri court after he was found guilty of having sex with a donkey. Chief Magistrate Wilbroda Juma said the case would serve as a lesson to others owing to the prevalence of cases of people committing unnatural acts with animals

A Nyeri Court has sentenced a man to six years in prison after he was found guilty of having sex with a donkey.

James Mwangi committed the beastly act on April 26, 2013 at Ruring’u area in Nyeri County.

According to the Chief Magistrate Wilbroda Juma, witnesses presented by the prosecution had given enough evidence regarding the case to enable the court make a ruling.

Mrs Juma said that the donkey’s owner Mr Peter Mathenge was one of the witnesses.

Mathenge had testified that on the said date, he had left the donkey with its young ones grazing and was later informed by a neighbour that his donkey had been abused by Mwangi.

He had further testified before the court that on visiting the scene, he found a condom and carried it to the nearest police station to report the matter.

The magistrate said that police officers acted on the information and interviewed an eye witness who identified himself as Mr Ng’ang’a and who said that he saw the accused having tied the donkey’s legs and mounting on it.

When the accused realised that he had been seen, he tried pulling up his trousers while attempting to escape from the scene but was arrested.

On further examination by the police officers, a condom was found inside the donkey’s reproductive parts.

In mitigation, the accused said that he is a young man with a bright future and has never committed such an offence before.

He therefore prayed for a lenient sentence so that he could become a person who can be depended on later in life.

The prosecutor Cathrine Murugi told the court that the accused was a first offender and had no previous criminal records.

The magistrate said while the court had noted the plea made by the accused, his case would serve as a lesson to others owing to the prevalence of cases of people committing unnatural acts with animals.

“You have been found guilty of committing the offence and will therefore serve a six years imprisonment,” said Mrs Juma.

Arsene Wenger may have been left seething by Arsenal’s loss at Old Trafford on Sunday, but the result was a whole lot more damaging for one reckless supporter in Uganda.

Gunners mad Henry Dhabasani has been left homeless after betting hishouse on the result of the game with Manchester United fan Rashid Yiga.

In return Yiga staked his new car, and his wife, that David Moyes’ men would triumph.

However, it was Dhabasani who came out on the short end of the result after Robin Van Persie’s first-half header settled the match in United’s favour.

So serious was the bet that the two men put down the stake in writing with local leaders and fellow fans drafted in as witnesses.

The Ugandan Observer reports that Dhabasani, who has three wives and five kids, fainted at the end of the match as the result of his folly sank in.

He was evicted on Monday after several United fans stormed his home and threw him and his family out.

BREAKING NEWS: Parents of Nyakach Mp Aduma Killed

Bandits lauched an arson attack in Sondu area at around 3 am and burned area Mp, Adumas Parents to death in what seems like, a retaliatory attack, owing to his being vocal about the insecurity especially cattle rustling  in nyakach.
The bandits who were heavily armed with machetes attacked when the elderly couple were asleep in their house after serverly beating and injuring the gate man.
Francis Owuor, 83,  and his wife Mary, 65,  died on Thursday night after the attack, believed to have been carried out by three people. Owuor’s body was burnt beyond recognition, he was reportedly beaten to death. She had cut and bruises on the face.
According to eye witnesses, The bandits struck and ran before the villagers could catch up with them.
The late Mary and Owuor were also in-laws to Kisumu West MP Olago Aluoch.

Kenyan Woman Stubbed to death by Ex boyfriend (GRAPHIC PHOTOS)

Sunday evening saw a mother of seven lose her life in the hands of her boyfriend. Mwajuma B.
The 34 year old Kenyan mother of seven had just delivered her last child a month ago. She had been fighting with her 40 year old boyfriend and father of her three youngest children. Her Boyfriend, Ramadhani K.of Tanzanian origin had become an alcoholic and would get drunk daily without helping out with the kid.

On Sunday the couple got into a fight and the neighbours could only hear screams from their apartment. At 11pm, the two daughters (9 and 11 year olds) rang the bell at the neighbour’s house asking for help for their mother.

When the neighbours got into the house, Mwajuma lay on the bed with blood all over the place. Ramadhani, sat relaxed on the sofa, as he smoked a cigarette in the bloody house.

The Neighbour called the police who were in the area on patrol and Ramadhani was arrested. Apparently, Ramadhani told the police, “Don’t handle me like an animal”.

When the paramedics got to the scene, they tried to save Mwajuma but it was too late. She was pronounced dead where she lay on the floor.

Five of the seven the children were at home, in their apartment in Leimbachweg in Köln-Dünnwald during the event. The seven children who are three boys aged 17, 16 and 3 years; and four girls aged 11, 10 and 2 years were taken by the children’s services (Jugendamt) and spent Sunday night at the hospital. Although they were not physically injured, they got to talk to a counsellor during their stay at the hospital that night.

The head of children’s service, Klaus-Peter Völlmecke, said the children were traumatised and were undergoing therapy. He added that it was imperative for the children to remain together for now, to help them recover. Later they might be separated and put in different homes or with different families but right now it would be best for them to stick together.

Rama was arrested and is under investigation. It remains unclear what caused the argument or the motive behind did.

According to the neighbours the family had been having financial problems. Rama and Mwajuma had apparently gone different ways with Ramadhani renting a new apartment for himself, though he regularly spent the night at Mwajuma’s. A neighbour who volunteers at the homeless shelter, told the newspapers that he would regularly give the children left over brötchen and bread and sometimes the children would ask him if he didn’t offer. The family had lived on Leimbachweg for three years.

Mwajuma had been married to another man, the father of the other four children before divorcing and hooking up with Ramadhani, the father of the youngest three children. Ramadhani refused to comment on what had happened and the newspapers pieced the articles based on the information the neighbours and police gave.

The police are trying to trace the relatives.

Jaguar bails Jimwat out of hospital (PHOTOS)

Word on the streets has it that philanthropist Jaguar has come to the rescue of Jimwat who has been bed ridden for Weeks now. He was involved in a grisly car accident that left his arms,legs and ribs fractured sending him to the hospital where he's been admitted awaiting corrective surgery to enable him walk again. Last week Calif records had hinted through Mejja that they'd foot his bills but as it looks,that remained just a word. On Sunday,Jaguar paid a visit to Jimwat in Kikuyu hospital where he is admitted with the injuries,Jaguar gave sh.90,000 for the first phase of corrective surgery on his arms,and pledged sh.90,000 for the subsequent surgery on his legs. Totaling to sh.180,000. He came to his rescue after his friends abandoned him,other industry counterparts gave him their backs while the mother plead for help since she couldn't manage the surgery fee,now with Jaguar's intervention,he finally will get his surgery done and come back to normal life

How Safaricom frustrates Mpesa Agents

Finally Safaricom is feeling the heat of Mobile Banking.

Just when they thought they are the sole Mobile Banking provider, they are now facing competition from all corners from fellow Service providers like Airtel Money, Yu Cash and Orange Money to Mainstream Banking systems like KCB mtaani, Co-op Kwa Jirani, Equity Agents and many others.

In a bid to curb this competition, they have given directions to MPESA agents not to operate other Bankers products like Airtel Money and the rest because it’s not healthy to the business, failure to which they will be closed down.

Apparently they are not even supposed to stock Airtime for Airtel, Yu or Orange.

If found, they close down your MPESA line and take away the Airtime you have in stock.

One of the Employees of Safaricom MPESA department who sought anonymity  disclosed to us that these directions are from the top management who claims MPESA transactions have gone down by 30% in the last 4 months and the impact saw MPESA tariffs rising by a margin of 5%.

When contacted on their Facebook page they told one Lydia Wanjiru to go to their inbox.

The question is, why is safaricom treating their agents as if they pay them monthly?

Why summon a customer with such massive concern to inbox?
