At one time during the ceremony held at Safaricom Stadium Kasarani, TV cameras pointed to a lady seated next to Mutua.
A lady many would soon learn was his wife.
Activity on Twitter increased, as Kenyans tried to get to understand where Mrs Mutua had been all this time... majority were seeing her for the first time.
Judging by the photos below, you can understand why she was trending for quite a while.
Wrong are you if you thought she's all beauty but no brains.
Her name is Josephine Thitu Mutua. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, a master’s degree in Public health and a Doctorate in Pharmacy.
Together with Mutua, they've been blessed with three children; four year old twins and the eldest child only 7.
